Obituary
Donald Ellison Boman, Sr. passed away at home on Monday, September 13, 2021 in Mansura, LA, at the age of 73. Born November 25, 1947, to Roy and Marie (Ellison) Boman, he lived a long and blessed life. Raised in Springfield, FL, alongside his brother and three sisters, he graduated from Rutherford High School. An Army veteran, he attended Florida State University and obtained a degree in political science. His children and grandchildren were the lights of his life.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Donald Boman, Jr. (Elizabeth Brister) of Brooklyn, NY; daughter, Emily Baker of Covington, LA; grandchildren, Shiloh Boman, Eleanor Baker, and Bastian Baker; brother, Gary Boman (Marilyn) of Gautier, MS; sisters, Adelaide Ward (Guy) of Rochester, PA and Suzanne Boman of Panama City, FL; and brother-in-law Marvin Eller of Lenoir, NC.
He is preceded in death by his son, Casey Boman; his parents, Roy and Marie; his sister, Nancy Eller; and wife, Cathie Boman (mother of Donald, Jr.).
